Welcome to National Hotel Supplies. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.nationalhotelsupplies.com.au (“Site”) and your purchase of goods and services (“Products”) from National Hotel Supplies Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18 years of age, you must obtain consent from a parent or guardian.


1. General

The Site allows you to browse, select, and order Products. By using the Site, you agree to comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

2. Compliance with Terms

By registering for an account, browsing, or placing an order, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Registration (Optional)

You may choose to create an account to simplify future orders. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

4. Placing an Order

Orders are placed by submitting an order through the Site or by written agreement. By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase at the price displayed (plus delivery/freight and taxes). You must provide accurate information.

5. Acceptance or Rejection of an Order

We may accept or reject orders at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable, a pricing error occurs, or product details are incorrect. A binding agreement exists once we confirm acceptance.

6. Minimum and Maximum Quantities

Unless otherwise specified, there are no minimum or maximum quantities. For large orders, we may offer partial supply or staged delivery.

7. Delivery of Products

  • All goods must be paid for in advance of delivery. 
  • We deliver to addresses where our carriers operate.

  • Delivery is to the front door or loading dock unless otherwise agreed. Inside delivery requests are at your risk.

  • If no one is available to accept delivery, redelivery fees may apply.

  • Title passes upon payment; risk passes upon delivery.

  • Bulky or fragile items (e.g. beds, furniture, rollaway beds) require skid or palletised freight. Standard website delivery charges are indicative only; additional freight surcharges will apply and be quoted separately.

8. Cancelling an Order

  • You may cancel an order prior to dispatch. For custom or special-order items, cancellation fees may apply.

  • We may cancel orders due to unavailability, errors, or other legitimate reasons. A refund will be provided for amounts paid.

9. Prices, Fees and Charges

  • All prices are in AUD and include GST unless otherwise specified.

  • Prices on the Site may differ from display room pricing.

  • You agree to pay product prices, delivery fees, surcharges, and any cancellation charges.

  • All goods must be paid for in advance of delivery. 

10. Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, PayPal, and direct deposit. Payment must clear prior to dispatch unless a credit account is approved.

11. Credit Accounts (No longer accepting new applications)

  • Credit accounts may be offered at our discretion, subject to application, credit checks, and director guarantees.

  • Standard payment terms: 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month, plus recovery costs.

  • We may suspend or cancel credit facilities if terms are breached.

12. Substitution and Missing Items

If an item is unavailable, we may substitute with a similar product or provide a refund. Missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

13. Returns and Refunds

National Hotel Supplies complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product is faulty, not as described, or damaged in transit, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

This Returns Policy forms part of these Terms.
NB: We photograph all orders before despatch to ensure we are responsible for any mistakes we have made.

  • Change of Mind: No refunds, credits, or replacements for change of mind, incorrect choice, or failing to verify details when ordering.

  • Faulty or Damaged Products:

    • Transit damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

    • Faults/defects must be reported within 14 days.

    • If deemed defective, we will repair, replace, or refund (if replacement unavailable).

  • Returns Process:

    • Proof of purchase may be required.

    • Products must be returned in original packaging, unused, and adequately protected.

    • If products are found not defective, you may be charged a $100 handling/testing fee, plus return freight.

  • Refunds:

    • Issued only after returned goods are inspected.

    • Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.

  • Exchanges: Subject to stock availability and at our discretion, we may offer an exchange of the same product for a different size, style, or variant. Exchanges are not offered for change of mind. Additional freight charges may apply.

14. Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For minor failures, we may repair or replace.

15. Warranties

Except as required by law or expressly stated, we exclude all other warranties. Product warranties are as provided by the manufacturer or as listed on our Site.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to:

  • replacement of goods,

  • repair of goods,

  • resupply of services, or

  • refund of the amount paid.
    We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

17. Suspension or Termination of Account

We may suspend or terminate customer accounts for misuse, breach of Terms, or non-payment.

18. Privacy

We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on the Site). By using our Site, you consent to this collection and use.

19. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, adapt, or distribute without written permission.

20. Freight Responsibility and Risk

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

  • We are not liable for loss or theft of goods after delivery is completed per your instructions.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring safe site access for trucks, pallets, and trolleys.

21. Price Matching and Promotions

We may offer discounts or promotions at our discretion.

  • Price matching is considered case-by-case, noting that our prices include GST and standard freight charges.

  • Promotional codes cannot be applied retrospectively.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the courts of Queensland.

23. Dispute Resolution

You agree to attempt informal resolution with our Customer Service team first. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may proceed to mediation in Queensland before litigation.

24. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events outside our control, including natural disasters, strikes, shipping disruptions, or pandemics.

25. Security of Information

We take reasonable steps to protect your data but cannot guarantee security of transmissions over the internet.

26. Abandoned Carts

 

If you add items to your cart but do not complete checkout, we may send you a reminder email. Items are not reserved until payment is received.
